Hey, I'm Andréa Pallotto

I am a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner in Montréal

About seven years ago I was lot in pain, depression and anxiety. Every method I tried only pushed me father away from my goal of not suffering anymore. Everything felt hard and I was convinced I was destined for a life in pain

Everything changed after I found Feldenkrais. This method taught me to be kinder to myself, it helped me listen to myself and my goal of not suffering anymore changed to a goal to be happier. I still have my ups and down; like everyone. But I am no longer controlled by harmful habits.

Since finding more ease in life, I have also started teaching this work to others. I offer group classes and private lessons.

Your are guided through gentle non-invasive movements which align your system to move better and easier. After a lesson, you will feel taller and more grounded. My students often find that they experience ease doing daily tasks and have more energy throughout the day!

Musicians, dancers, artists; they all flock to Feldenkrais. People working on computers, driving machinery, manual labour; all these tasks require repetition. Repeating movements constantly means prioritizing that function over others. Overtime, you can lose other functions. That’s where we come in. After a lesson, students find they’ve performed better and easier. We took what they already do, and we made it easier.

This method has offered me a new way of learning; Organic. Now, I know that word is so overused, but really it just means, you learn by doing. And its in the process that the learning becomes…well learnt and sticks. So how do you learn organically? By following the process, not pushing for a goal and respecting yourself. Letting yourself fall, make mistakes, laugh and enjoy the process. This will lead to respecting your capacities, abilities and choices.

Let me be the first to say, I can’t cure you. But I can help you to recognize your own patterns. I can help you be curious about what you are dealing with. And I can reinforce the positives. Is your left shoulder hurting? Well, I’ll “talk” to the right one, find out what you’re doing and show your left side that you can do that too.
